1. Agreement

By accessing nagamatcha.lk or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. About us

Naga Matcha (Private) Limited ("Naga Matcha," "we," "us," "our") sells premium matcha green tea powder in ceremonial and premium grades through our website and authorised stockists in Sri Lanka. Products may be imported or locally sourced. These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made directly through nagamatcha.lk only; purchases made through an authorised stockist are governed by that stockist's own terms. 3. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or are otherwise legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Sri Lankan law.

4. Products

We describe our products as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly between screens and batches due to the natural characteristics of matcha. Product images are for illustration purposes.

Matcha is a food product and contains naturally occurring caffeine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a heart condition, are sensitive to caffeine, or have any other dietary or medical concerns, please consult a healthcare professional before use.

5. Orders & payment

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase, and is not itself a binding contract. A contract of sale is formed only once we accept your order, which we do by dispatching your product or otherwise confirming acceptance in writing. We reserve the right to refuse or decline to accept any order at our discretion (e.g. pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability), and if this happens after payment has been taken, we will notify you and provide a full refund.

Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely through PayHere. Successful payment confirms that your order has been received and is being processed; it does not, on its own, form a binding contract of sale.

6. Shipping

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout.

7. Returns & refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including logos, text, images, and design, is owned by Naga Matcha or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our branding without written consent.

9. Website use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access if these terms are violated.

The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error free, or that all information, including stock availability, is accurate in real time.

You agree to indemnify and hold Naga Matcha harmless against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the website or breach of these terms.

10. Force majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, customs delays, supply chain disruption, or government action. Where such an event affects your order, we will notify you and, where appropriate, offer a refund or revised delivery timeline.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Naga Matcha is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Sri Lankan law, including the Unfair Contract Terms Act.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

13. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These terms, together with our Shipping Policy and Refunds & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Naga Matcha in relation to your use of the website and purchase of our products; they are validly formed as an electronic agreement in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act, No. 19 of 2006.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
